BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Guangdong Verbund site project would be BASF’s largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completion and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. The site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, and will be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologies and applying the highest safety standards.

Main Tasks

• Together with project engineering count part, review the design drawing and signal mapping about site EPS EMCS/CEMCS, approve for EPS SCADA HMI configuration, Factory Acceptance Test etc.
• Work together with MEV, ETAP company , to develop BIG customized configuration about EPS OTS (Operator Training Simulator ).
• Mechanical Completion check, planning and lead for integrated site acceptance test about EMCS and OTS develop the EMCS OTS operation and Training manual , lead the OTS training for operation and maintenance crew.
• Build up BIG own ETAP application setup , review ETAP model/ analysis report /relay setting calculation done by project and/or MEV, completeness and acceptance check for ETAP modelling and protection relay setting book.
• Provide technical support for Phase 1 PV project which is under execution process.
• Lead crew to manage the as-built status of master document of EPS plant unit , updating ETAP study protection relay setting etc.
• Be part of planning team whenever there is expansion demand on power grid, and possible lead the expansion execution task.
• Provide training to team members and coaching subordinators.
• Other tasks from supervisor.
• Accomplish the safety responsibility and accountability as being listed in annex.

Requirements

• Education: Electrical engineering or automation engineering (min. bachelor’s degree or comparable) .
• Working Experience: min 5 years.
• Technical Professional Knowledge: Knowledge in MES systems and related interface technologies (e.g. OPC). Knowledge in electrical power supply systems (transformers, HV and LV switchgears, UPS systems).
