Main Tasks

1. As technical expert to be involved into the engineering design review for steamboiler generation units, compressed air unit, natural gas station, and the distribution systems of steams, boiler feed water, compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen, natural gas, and fuel gas.
2. Be the formal interface between SPG plant operation and project team, engineering team, design institute, package vendors, and production clusters on technical request clarification.
3. As SPG plant’s process experts to transfer the final process design and key parameters to SPG plant production team on the plant process design and technical relevant contents to ensure the
4. As process engineer to work out or help the shift teams to work out the work instructions, operation procedures for plant commissioning, start-up,normal operation maintenance, and upset response.
5. Close monitor the plants running status, process parameters, and key equipment’s performance to ensure the operation within the proper range.
6. Initiate the process optimization proposal and work with relevant MoC review, approval, execution, and track parties to complete the whole process as the SPG plant key coordinator role.
7. Be the formal interface between SPG operation team and IOU function teams (e.g.energy and technology management, maintenance), 3rd party suppliers (e.g.nitrogen supplier), TSS, and production clusters as technical focal point to raise the requests as deputy of SPG plant operation and to cascade/brief the received rules /planning/information to SPG team.
8. To support production manager and technical manager on the operation, including the trouble shooting, incident analysis and mitigation plans, preparation of schemes for process optimization and/or technical modification, energy management and cost analysis support etc. of SPG plus IG plant.
9. To keep the regular communications with the production clusters, including crackers, Utilities Generation, and all Production Plants of BIG project with daily records, focusing on the key information of planned normal steam demands, BFW and fuel supplies, and emergency cases of the related plants.
10. To be responsible for the asset management of SPG plus IG plant, including the inspection of the key equipment of the plant with daily report (QSB-Quick Startup Boiler, turbines, LDS-Letdown Stations, SA-Steam Accumulators, Deaerators, natural gas station and pipeline, ASU and CAU-Compressed Air Unit, PSV), the preventive maintenance, the preparation of the outage plans and participation in the maintenance of related equipment as listed above.
11. To participate in the calibrations, installation, and tests of the fiscal custody meters of SPG steam output, and BFW and fuel inputs, and feedback the progress and status to SPG management.
