Job Summary & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Project Finance & Investment Manager, who will be part of Sungrow’s Oversea Project Investment and Finance team, and covers Asia Pacific regions. In this effort you will have the opportunity to work closely with Sungrow’s Business Development, and EPCOM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance) teams to develop, finance and construct large-scale solar/Energy storage power plants worldwide. Working location will be in Singapore/China.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Screen project investment opportunities from a financing feasibility perspective and work with financial analyst on internal financial model.
§ Interface and coordinate with the project development and EPC teams on all structural aspects of solar/energy storage projects and generate investment memo and financing documents.
§ Undertake and manage the necessary due diligence, risk analysis and structuring of the debt and equity financing.
§ Support or lead the internal approvals process including interface with legal, treasury, credit committee and/or senior management in the HQ.
§ Facilitate or lead active relationship with commercial lenders or development banks as well as other financial partners in the region and beyond as well as with developers, co-investors and governments.
§ Quickly come up to speed on industry and company value proposition.
§ Participate in country teams for strategic planning purposes, especially policy analysis to determine market setup.
§ Work with other team members to innovate new financing solutions that can bring competitive advantages to the company.

Qualifications, Experiences and Personal Characteristics:
Must be passionate about the renewable energy business, hardworking and thrive in the fast pace of a rapidly growing company, being able to travel internationally frequently. In addition, the Project Finance Manager should possess:
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
§ Master degree with major in Economics/Finance/Business Administration from top-notch schools
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Other language skill is a plus
§ Related experiences in the financial industry, esp. private equity, corporate financing, and investment banking; Experiences in the energy industry is a plus
§ Strong team orientation and demonstrated internal and external management skills
