Based in Shanghai.
The T&P Engineer, Industrial Energy will be involved on multiple audit reviews, techno-commercial proposals, energy process design for Utilities O&M/EPC projects with industrial customers on a scope covering the whole energy cycle (Boiler-Turbine-Generator, cooling systems including chiller and cooling towers, pumping, HVAC, air compressors, CHP, heat covery, LNG, solar, power storage, energy optimization on the full manufacturing process).
II - Key-Job Responsibilities
A - Participate in business development as an energy technical expert
Assets/plants site audit of industrial projects, record the status of energy system and make corresponding assessment.
Sort out and summarize site status and make a report according to requirements.
Clients’ energy demands gathering and modeling for identifying reliable and feasible energy technical proposals.
Understand contract technical specifications related to energy processes.
Preparation of process calculations for TPS/HVAC/CHP/COOLING and sizing of different plant units.
Energy Mass Balance calculations for all energy-related assets and preparation of energy profiles.
P&I diagrams in coordination with mechanical/electrical engineers.
Deliver systematic and structured OPEX/CAPEX improvement recommendations and action plans.
Process description and sequence of operation for Energy-related assets.
Interface with suppliers to get quotations and build costing sheets.
B - Design and implementation of energy system
Provide technical solution to a cross functional team in the entire life cycle of project investment.
Actively participating in project execution, commissioning and operation to optimize project solutions thru best practice and lesson learning.
Operation performance analysis & optimization.
III - Skills/ Qualification/Requirements
BsC/ Msc in Engineering.
4-6 years of experience in Industrial energy, recognized technical expertise in process improvement:
If hands-on experience in a Thermal Power Station, or as in charge of utilities of a plant that would be valuable.
If experience in utilities of Navy or commercial shipping, that would be a plus
Good communication qualities and interpersonal skills required.
Driven, structured, rigorous, detailed-oriented, team player, hard-working.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure;
Communicative level of English and good writing skills;
Be able to take business trips.
B- Operational Experience
Knowledge and experience on: power generation (coal, biomass, natural gas, biogas, LNG, hydrogen, hydrothermal, wind, solar), chilling systems including chiller and cooling towers, pumping, HVAC, air compressors, CHP, heat covery, power storage, energy optimization.

Detailed Thermodynamics: Thermoflow
PID’s drafting softwares: AutoCAD
Design / Engineering softwares: AutoCAD (2D), ProE (3D), sketchup (3D)
Know-how and interest for Operational implementation:
Energy savings measures: connect technical plan and their rollout;
Construction background of key energy facilities supplier/BOT/ECM;
Optimization and improvement of all process stages, significant reduction of energy, maintenance, chemical consumptions and other consumables
