JOB FUNCTIONS PURPOSE:Enforce the technical gate reviews throughout the life cycle, technical responsibility for the overall delivery of projectKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Overall technical responsible for the project who is assigned for. Including but not limited to…2. Reviews the output of project development milestones and lead the Preliminary Design Review and Final Design Review for the project, makes technical decision on behalf of project with the support from each technical functions (incl. RD)3. Works with all the groups at every stage of the life cycle to ensure that each group’s development can proceed4. Semi-approves all technical submittals for project solution consistency5. Reviews and Semi-approves all deliverables for project solution consistency6. Ensure that the design and the development complies with TST company procedures7. Co-ordinates the investigation of problems including planning and investigation of external and internal interface problems between subsystems, software, hardware, etc.8. Ensures all subsystem interfaces are defined, documented, and complied with9. Reviews the project schedule and identifies technical dependencies10. Coordinates trade-off studies to determine technical alternatives to resolve project issues11. Identifies project technical risks and establishes mitigation strategies12. Reviews and approves technical proposals for all project RFQ’s13. Reviews and approves project implementation plans for project consistency14. Leads all technical discussion (incl. DLMs,contract negotiation) with Customer or 3rd parties15. Attend VIMs according to needed16. Organize meeting in site for discussionCOMPETENCY REQUIREMENT:1. Well understanding of CBTC system(s), especially SelTrac system2. Technical direction of Signaling industry, customer requirement, competitors technologies.3. Familiar with system development life-cycle4. Familiar with international domestic Industrial design, engineering acceptance standards5. 8 years + relevant working experience6. 4 categories in 9 engineering function modules:- System + 4 Subsystems- SysOps- Wayside HW Design- VV + Site Deploymentmust have working experiences in 3 modules or equivalence (assessment needed).7. Good at English writing speaking8. M. or B.Sc. Electrical Engineering or equivalent
